And it's free! Hahaha, just kidding, but seriously. The idea of it being the greatest engine mod ever is solely his opinion I think it's wrong to judge that. I think it's fine if people disagree, but not to argue about it because in the end no one really wins since it's based on something subjective. car852 discovered a neat little engine mod that he believes is the best ever and we should just leave it at that. Who knows, he might have just been being sarcastic in the first place!

 

All i was doing was disagreeing with him. I was not attempting to bash him in any way. I actually think it looks good. I was just disputing the fact that its the greatest mod ever. This is the internet and i am entitled to my opinion. Most of us are adults and can have a casual debate. Its when someone starts posting insults the discussion becomes immature.

If you're an adult I'm pretty sure you could tell he was just being sarcastic about the title and there would then be no need for debate, but fair enough. It's just I thought something might get out of hand because of that school comment, which you didnt make, so Im not saying anything against you, Im just saying.

 

I didnt see it as being sarcastic to be honest but i suppose that a possibility. I just get tired of seeing the threads with people displaying what they have done and when they get comments they dont agree with they get all butthurt. What do they expect? A solid wall of omgthatisthebestthingevar?

I post things up all the time and i do get negative comments. All i usually do is ask their reasoning and move on. Not the typical "you cant spell" or "your stupid" retorts.

Ok, so how long did that take and what did you use

 

well from start to finish it took me about 2 1/2 hours because my garage is a mess

i used 360 at first and i worked my way up. well sorta.. i only had 360 and 1500

soooo. it took a lot of sanding with the 1500 to get all the scratches out from the 360.

Oh yeah and i used a sanding block.

After sanding for quite a while and then cleaning it up. i used a dremel bit made for polishing and used some metal polish that i got from autozone a while back. i think it was the MAG polish if i remember correctly.

The dremel was awesome at polishing the little letters. You can probably get away with hand polishing it, but this made it so much easier.



when i was all done i decided to wash my engine bay with some Simple Green and then detailed it with some blue disposable shop towels for the pictures. haha
