Hey guys I was just looking into replacing some bulbs on my car with LED replacements. I definitely want to do the license plate bulbs to make them white instead of the stock yellowish thing we have going on.

Does anyone know where I'd be able to get some?

I was also looking into getting maybe the interior dome/trunk lights also. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. I know we had a guy on here before but I think he quit doing it so I'm not sure who we have left to turn to =/

LEDs are easy to do. its simply just buy the bulb and replace it. You can get bulbs online everywhere. I changed mine and my brothers license plate bulbs and dome lights to cool white LEDS. And while i was at it i got some LED turn signals haha. I like it. but yeah just order online and simply swap the bulbs, so easy a caveman can do it.

Alrite cool! Is there a specific bulb I need to buy for each different one? Like a seperate bulb for the plate vs the domes?

EDIT: What I mean is that after looking it up, our license plate bulb is supposed to be 2825. However, on that website I dont see a replacement for 2825... they're all 3 digit numbers so it's things like these that trip me up. I'm really a noob when it comes to the lighting stuff on the car and whatnot.

Also does anyone know what number bulb to buy for the dome? There's so many number options to get I just have no idea which one we can use

i purchase some led for my 335i, was thinking just now about doing the ralliart.... anyways i got my interior lights from ddmtuning.com, 194 specficially are $3.00 each i think with 6 LED

as many have mention the liscense plate are 194 bulbs as well as the dome, so I would think you need my bulbs total...3 in the dome and 2 for the plate....

okay so i get two sets of those ones that 02-Lancer-Es posted up for the license plate and 2 individual lights on each side for the dome

and then i get this one for dome?
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...10381-1-2.html

or this one?
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...99215-1-2.html

YES i am doing red LED on the interior center dome and then the white ones for the reading lights. I never use the center one anyway unless just to open the doors when it auto turns on... usually use the individual lights if i need something which again will be white. for the individual reading lights though should i get the same ones as the license plate ones? or should i get these ones?

this alternative for the reading lights is just cause the ones for the plates that were shown to me already are unidirectional versus the second ones that go everywhere... just want your guys' opinions which option would be better

Ebay easiest for sure, that site has some interesting ones though.

Also, for best output, get the convex bulbs, brighter and better output:

These:

Not these

I put LED's in my Projectors and licence plate.

Hopefully it works out alright. If anything I may end up returning the blue ones. Not sure yet if I'll like the blue side lights or if I want to keep them stock or change to a different color

lol i would've but $10 a piece seemed like enough money that they're getting out of me. I'm sure I'll be happy just the same though as I'm not going for super bright just enough
