those with vortex gen.

hey guys, i was looking into getting a vortex gen, ive seen some sold at speedelement for like $50, but i found one on ebay for cheaper, not a bad deal
but i was looking at the pic provided and was wondering how it is installed on the car withthe wing looking parts on the side, i mean do those wing looking things on the sides go under something or what? also if anyone has bought one before, did they have these on the sides? check out the site and if anyone could enlighten me that would be great. i only ask because ive seen some without the side wing looking things.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-07...essories#rpdId

thanks in advanced!!

It look to be a decent quality one. The side pieces your talking about go under the black trim on the roof. You just get it a gentle tug and you'll hear pop pop pop pop ,do this to both sides, seat the VG properly then push the trim back into place. You only need to lift a small section of the trim up so don't go crazy . Hope this helps.

Only buy from ReXpeed!!!!! They have quality, quality, quality products. Don't bother with the cheap Ebay ones, I have had my ReXpeed vortex gen for 2 years now & it is amazing. Here is the link for the one I purchased.

Install is a bit tedious, but once you remove the plastic clips to the weathering on the outside, you can easily slide the vortex gen inside easily. Good luck Bro!

I got mine on Ebay, chose not to paint it. I almost went with a Carbon fiber one.

Installed it solo in 15 minutes maybe.

If you are unsure, there is a how to on YouTube by a member on here, which is very good.

i got mine from rexspeed, same one as link above. the product was quality and fast shipping and definitely makes the car look alot nicer. they have one with a package that comes with a 2' shorty antenna. one thing i was concerned about when i bought it was removing antenna base, but it fits right over. installation was quick and painless exactly how everyone else described. definitely worth the buy.
