alrighty, i just got my 04 ralliart 2 weeks ago.. i'm gettin' ready to install an in-dash dvd player, it's single-din sized.. i'm just wondering if anyone knows if there are shop manuals out yet, or if anyone knows how to get the stock cd player out yet? the dash looks the same as an 03 i think, so, if someone knows anything about the 03 dash, then you could help me out a little. thanks guys.

 

Easy to pull the dash apart!
1) pull off your ac/heat knobs, just yank em
2) remove screws under them
3) GENTLY pry around center piece (that aluminum looking dealie in yours), you should feel slight pops as the plastic clips pop off
4) pull the centerpiece all the way out

that should about do it as far as i remember... it's a little tricky popping the clips off on the center piece, so be careful not to scratch/dent anything.

Yeah It's very easy. I installed my Pioneer 7500 deck 2 days after getting the car. And for all of you out there wondering if the 94+ Harnest will work for the 04 RalliArt your answer is YES. When you take off the dash portion and it starts popping off you'll think you're breaking something, but you're not. Just be careful not to scratch the area around it. Pretty easy.

 

I'm in the market for the Ralliart and am planning on installing an in dash DVD player too. Reading up on what the dvd player comes with, it comes with a tv antenna cable. How do you install this on a Ralliart? Does it mean I have to add another antenna besides the radio's?
