@ Jay10Ralliart: Yeah I agree with you on that, I will be getting mesh for a project on the lower front bumper so I'll probably use it for the "speed holes" in the back too lol. Thanks for the compliments though.

@Joshua.: Nope it's never been repainted, I think the picture just fools you, its an iphone pic and the camera makes it more vibrant. I did just rinse the car though. The paint ain't that bad, just have to take care of it. I polish once a year and a quick wax every wash. When the time is right I'll also wax it more thoroughly. I've actually never had it done by a pro either.

Havent been on the forums for over a year and k3lv's Ralli is still one of the best. Only gets better everytime I see it. I love its present stance, you deserve an 'illest' award!

thanks ralliboy, send that illest license plate cover over lol.

No new pics, weather hasn't been great, some snow here and there so I don't drive it as often.

I'm working on some color options when I refinish my wheels cause I bought them all curbed and paint is chipped. I'm thinking white with chrome lip, or a shiny anodized purple with chrome lip

i believe those are from street concepts, but they are mix and matched, not just all one kit.

What quick wax do you use? I used some Turtle Wax polishing compound last fall to restore the color a little bit because my red is really faded. I'd like to find a good quick wax so I don't have to buff wax every month or so. It's a pain to keep up with this cheap OEM paint.

The rear bumper and side skirt is ALL ONE kit. The front bumper is stock with rrm front lip.

I'll get a pic or two of the engine bay in the future. Mainly waiting for an engine bay detailing session before I do anything, it's oxidized from my exhaust leak from the turbo, but thats fixed now.

I use a meguiars quick wax, forget what it is, but its a spray on. Usually for me a wash consists of: Rinse, soap, rinse, dry, wax, then quick wax. And if it needs a polish/claybar that will come before the wax. The OEM paint isn't cheap, it just doesn't have a thick clear coat on it. Ask a body shop to clear your car, you'll see the difference. My car is just stock paint still, but I haven't re-cleared it

Thanks Ghost, front bumper is stock nothing I can do, I do like the lip though. Yeah I stopped on a pothole, it was raining and I just wanted to get some quick photos. Thanks for the compliments anyways

so you hand wax with the majority of your washes and then quick wax too? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to obtain the best red I can to color match my front bumper when I get it painted.

thanks cheng, nice to hear from you again.

Joshua, I don't know how to use a machine nor have I had it done by a pro. I hand wax every two times, and spray wax always. Is it that hot in Baltimore?
