that's awesome...is there high output LED headlamps? i use a single diode flashlight at work and it's super bright, there's like a 16 on that lamp....i see they have them in other types, but i didn't see any that would fit our...

 

High output LED headlamp bulbs would be awesome. If I dont find something like that Ive been debating going HID. Everyone I know who's done it loves it.

Also. Called the body shop yesterday. They told me before I dropped off my car that it would be done by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest. Yesterday they said, "Well its almost ready to be painted they should do tat Thursday, and have it ready for you Friday." I dont know how it takes a week to replace a door shell, and repaint it... -__-'

 

yeah those bodyshops seem to all be a bit shady IMO

lol yea i know. I wanted to take them off this weekend but its been getting colder and colder and i dont have a garage to use at the moment...

But they painted both driver side doors and blended it into the front and rear fenders. Totaled out to be $1400. Im just glad I didnt have to pay for it, the guy who hit it took out a loan and handed me cash for it.

 

that's not bad then, as long as it didnt come out of your pocket.

 

although he had to borrow the money, as long as he pays it off in a timely manner, it will save him in the long run, rather than sitting on a "i'm a dumb ***" insurance claim that will be more costly over time. Glad he was cool about it, and 1400 is actually not bad...My wife was rear ended by a 16 year old girl texting and driving in my other lancer, and it cost $900 just for rear bumper...trunk lid and tail lights were not damaged...

 

I have always liked white RA's. Looks good. I especially like the transparent hood picture; haven't seen on of them in a while.

Other than that Ive ordered some Tein S. Tech springs so those should be in by the end of the week. Hopefully I'll get it dropped this weekend.

The next thing is to order myself a new Vortex Generator. I want it paint matched this time round though.. I think that may look a bit nicer.

Finally does anyone have one of the RALLI////ART badges they would sell me? I want to remove the one on my trunk and put one on each side skirt just in front of the back tires. If anyone does happen to have one shoot me a PM and we will work something out!

What head unit is that? It looks like its sits fairly flush with the surrounding plastic.

 

the stock ralliart badges can be ordered from a dealer, or mitsubishiparts.net or similar website...

Mine started peeling off, so i bought a new one, i'm not one to de-badge, i rather like all the 08+ ES and GTS model lancers that try to race me in my "old" lancer being able to see my Ralliart badge as i pull away from them...now with the turbo it's going to be even more embarrassing for them, i might need a big decal across the rear window so they can read it from 10 car lengths back.
