Well finally started to get the ball rolling on having my engine rebuilt.

Cylinder head in in the shop being rebuilt.

Just placed orders from:
- Road Race Engineering
- MitsubishiParts.net
- RPW
- crank-scrapers.com

Sent a PM to hopefully get an Evo Clutch Master Cylinder.

Still need to order:
- Water pump and timing kit
- Full engine gasket set
- Gauges
- 3 bar MAP

Need to start looking for:
- PCV Delete barb replacment
- Crank case drain back plug
- Turbo Oil feed fitting
- Oil return fitting
- Appropriate turbo oil lines

Then Im thinking about going ahead and getting the crankshaft bearings replaced. I feel like that would be a good idea while the engine is apart since i have no clue how many miles were on it. Also thinking that having the block hot tanked wouldnt be a bad idea either.

Also going to have my tranny checked and get the LSD installed by a local shop. Ive never worked on a transmission before so Id feel much safer having someone else do it for me.

Going to leave the stock bottom end. Ive already spent more than I originally planned on this build, and I still have a long way to go. Plus I feel a bit more confident that the lower end will hold up after hearing Crans running 14psi in the summer months, and Kasper pushing 20psi with a supercharger. So my starting goals of 10psi should be no problem. Plus with all the supporting mods I think this will turn out really clean, and more efficient.

Ordered an Evo Clutch Master Cylinder, and EGR block off plate today. Also looked up everything I'll need to install my gauges, gunna hold off on ordering those till my next payday.

I brought some parts with me today. But I realized no where down here has metric hose barbs or T's. Anyone know where I can order metric hose barbs? Crans where did you get the 4way adapter you used on the back of your block? I need one of those too. If I cant get metric barbs I might just drill out and tap the holes to accept Standard barbs... I'd like for one of them to be a bit bigger anyway...

Well so far I have received everything but: RRE Oil Catch can, RPW gaskets, Crank Scraper.

The order for the Evo CMC fell thru. So Im back on the market for that guy.

I just placed an order for new spark plugs, gauge pods, radio relocation.

And I also ordered two little souvenir do-dads. A OEM mitsubishi motors leather keychain, and OEM mitsubishi motors wallet style ID/Credit card holder.

I'll try to get some pictures of stuff when I get a chance.

Im also still hunting for a place to get metric fittings... If someone knows of a place please let me know!

And yesterday I started transferring interior bits from the green car to the white one. Im kinda thinking I might redo the interior of my car. I like it with the white dash, but I'd like something a little more subtle, that will match the rest of the interior. The white really POPS! lol

http://www.grainger.com/category/ecatalog/N-1z0du5i

http://www.malonespecialtyinc.com/industrial.html

https://www.google.com/search?q=METR...ive&gws_rd=ssl

maybe these can help..?
as far as going In person and trying to find what you'd need...I think grainger is your best bet...
however...I don't know of a local one(well I also don't know that much around here...i've only been here a month)

you'd probably have to order a bunch of fittings online and see if/what fits...and return the rest
and I know u already don't wanna spend any more money...so I don't know how feasible that is

ps check ur pm's..

Awesome! Thanks! There is a Grainger on Georgetown Rd. I'll have to stop by there and see if I can get what I need!

Nekkidlad and I hung out for a bit yesterday. Got the front case prepped for the Balance Shaft Delete. And got the head lubed, torqued, and lashed. Hoping the weather stays nice for a few days so my back yard will dry up and I can roll the car into the garage.

Im still waiting on my crank scrapper, and gaskets from RPW... :/

Enjoy all the shakes of the balance shaft delete if you're still running that solid mount lol
