looks great, just as you said, a drop is needed. Also the VG and the Rear window visor is clashing. I think if you removed one or the other, it would clean the look up. Just my opinion, but keep it up! Also my old taillights LOOK GREAT on the white paint!

liking how it looks. now i know how my car would look with ES tails. as previously said i'd get rid of either the roof spoiler or the vg.

I think it looks great man! The gold rims set it off and imo the vg and visor don't look bad at all when you're wingless, but thats just me. Are those ES tails or RA tails with paint/vinyl overlay?

They are nc_bboy's old tails. I beleive they are ES Tails with orange vinyl. I had a set of Depo's but I like these much better! I think I'm going to leave the VG and RV for now. I put the stock spoiler back on, just until I get my CF Trunk. Who knows though, I might just keep it like this, I have my eye on another vehicle so this may just be the grocery getter/winter ride.

They are ES tails with vinyl. I can't remember the username, but I got it from a guy thats on this site. He usually does evo lights only but I contacted him and he helped me out. There is a couple of guys on here now that have the same vinyl.

I love the white RA's with gold rims! It looks so sweet! Nice ride.

I do have to agree with the roof spoiler and VG comment, not that I think it looks bad just that the spoiler totally ruins the entire point of having the VG. The VG is designed to make the airflow hug closer to the rear window and deck. The spoiler is preventing that action. Here is a study done by Mitsubishi on the purpose and science behind the VG. Its a pretty cool read and very informative. Check it out!

Anyway she looks sick! Keep it goin! I wanna see it after the drop!

The VG optimizes the drag on the Evo's wing. But is still serves a useful purpose if you have our stock wing, or no wing at all. If you read the study the VG is designed to optimize airflow over the rear window reducing drag by preventing flow separation at downstream. It basically causes the air to hug the rear of the car instead of just flying over it. Doing this reduces the vacuum or inactive air back there making the car more aerodynamic. Now this optimizes any wing you have on the rear deck be it the stock one or the evo wing because the more airflow that is forced over the wing generates more downforce on the rear which is the purpose of any wing.

That article gets all scientific about it but that pretty much sums it up.
