changing bulb behind dials

Hey guys i have a problem. I have blue neons in my car and i have gauges in my RA that light up blue also i want my dash dials to be blue also, If i were to get a blue light and replace the red one behind the dash board would that make it a wierd color or would it come out lookig nice and blue, thanks alot guys

i saw this url on another forum, granted it is a honda link, but it is helpful. you need to have a working knowledge of electricity such as wiring in resistors, led's, soldering, and splicing.

If you buy LEDs with the same power(voltage/current) limits you will not have to use any external resistors. They should have the bulbs that you need at almost any electronics store(radio shack, etc). It should not be that hard, you could most likely follow a tutorial on any lancer, if there is one, because the gauge clusters are pretty much the same.
