since he is banned now... his was carbon fiber. idk what he would say, but from personal preference i would get the fiberglass. CF looks nice but for a part that is in constant danger of being scrapped, stepped on, bumped into, or anything else i would save my money and get FG. CF is awesome for a show car, or for interior bits but its an expensive and possibly wasted investment on the outside of the car.

 

 

Yep, I got lured in by the "bling" of CF, and in hindsight, the factory black FG probably would have blended in with the OEM black ground effects better, as well as being a more durable/resistant material to scrapes, bumps, rocks, etc. When this finish gets pretty beat up I'll probably have it sanded and painted satin black to match the others...

 

Great RRM shows FG Lip SOLD OUT =(..is there somewhere else i cn get the lip get? Besides ebay.

 

If you haven't already, call RRM and ask if they are indeed "sold out." If I'm not mistaken, the CF lip was also "sold out" when I was in the market to buy one, and when I called, they just placed an order to their manufacturing plant in Mexico and had one made for me. They might not be "in demand" right now and are just taking orders as they are requested.

 

Called RRM, and they said they dont have the mold to make it???? And told me they are discontinuing that lip kit. wTf?! Lol just when im all excited to order! Oh well. Thanks anyway guys. Might have to go another direction with this lip kit. Will post pic if i get one installed.

i know right? but if you haven't already heard the MUGEN lip (98-00) works on our ralliart... just a few modifications. I guess im gonna go with that.

I cant recall where it was I saw it. But i do seem to remember someone putting the Mugen lip on the RA... Lanzer would probably be able to find it for you. He's good at that sorta thing. LOL
