its stock suspension (with different rear springs) with almost 124,000 miles on it.. but..... My dad and i sort of gave it a lift kit in the rear using a coil-over type design. We made a washer the same size as the original spring seat. The hole in the washer was cut to just fit over the shock tube and sits where the spring seat would go. So then we tacked the spring seat to the washer for some lift (about 3/4 of an inch). Then we used a universal coil over kit and assembled it back together.

dude, you live deeper in the woods than i did when i lived in the annapolis valley!

nice bike...i recently finished a bottom end rebuild on my brother in law's 06 KX250, and a complete rebuild on my father in law's old DT-200...not sure what the bore was but we got a big piston out of another motor, and had the good barrel bored to match it...thing's a beater but it goes pretty good...the kx250 had blown the rod bearing, she made a nasty racket...

Nice bike. I miss having mine. My dad, brother, and I all use to race hare scrambles around Kentucky. We had a blast. I dont get to ride anymore but it doesnt make me not want to!

Oh nice looking RA too. I like the lifted rear end. makes it look more like a rally car!

I probably do haha i live in a valley that is only about 1.5 - 2 miles wide and maybe 20 miles long lol its called Path Valley!

and thanks, I rebuilt the top end last may, it didnt need it but i needed a high school graduation project so what the hell!? And Kx's are notorious for the rod bearing failing, no matter if its a 65cc, 85cc, 125cc, etc lol

Thanks! Riding is a blast, i wish i could find more time to do it but when you have barely anyone to ride with, it tends to get boring but its still fun.

And thanks lol did you see how i lifted it? lol

I did. That was a clever fix! If I drove mine off road more often I'd probably do that. But seeing as shes hardly ever off the pavement Im gunna be dropping her pretty soon on some s.techs. But it does look awesome!

Speaking of air bags, I was doing a little GNU Image Manipulation of another project for the sportback.

Details in 2013...
