I was wondering if a spoiler directly off of an Evo VIII fits directly on to the Ralliart? Or do I need new holes or mounting points. I know I'll need a third brake light.

This topic has been discussed but I never read if it bolts right on or if it neded modifications to fit.

Has anyone done this themselves on their car yet?

 

If you have a spoiler already, I would trade somebody for their plain one. Yes it does fit.

 

It does fit, but you'll need to drill two new holes. And I say **** the third brake light. I've been paying attention lately and I've seen so many cars that DO NOT HAVE 3rd brake lights. Worrying about getting pulled over for not having a 3rd brake light is like worrying about being 16 riding a bike without a helmet. Who the hell cares. Honestly. If you're going to worry about that 3rd brake light then worry about the other things that a ******** cop could consider "illegal" like exhaust, or intake, etc. That's just my .02 cents

I'm getting one installed on my car at a dealership down here in Fairfield. They'll not only install it, but they'll paint it to match my car for 495 bucks. Not bad, considering I've seen them go for that much without the paint and you'd have to install it yourself. I'd rather have someone else do it.

yes i do agree i have been paying alot of attention and i have seen many of car without a thurd brake light my friend has no third brake light and he has never gotten bothered for it. Yeah that RA was selling on ebay is that where you got the pics?

 

you have to drill? wouldn't the holes from the stock spoiler due? or do they only have one hole each side?

 

Where Abouts Do You Have To Drill?... "one On Each Side"????.... And Can The Dealer Just Install It Without The 3rd Brake Light... Cause I'm Getting My Evo8 Spoiler Installed In A Couple Of Days From The Dealer. And They Told Me They Have To Have It Installed..."its The Law"....
