Usually your cd recording software program has the option to make an audio cd ( same format as cd from shop, 20 or so songs) or an MP3 cd which can take approx 150 songs. But in theory an audio cd has greater quality. Today the price of an MP3 unit is about the price of a cd unit a few years ago. It would be a rare find to get a cd unit in a shop. The same goes with cd stackers, they are all pretty much mp3 stackers now, except mine

Yeah LCD screens are expensive. You dont have to get a headunit that controls a stacker. You can get a stacker with its own separate control thats tunes in through any head unit. It comes down to how much you wanna spend. You dont even have to have a cd stacker. You could just get a cd wallet. And if your gonna spend the dollars on a LCD screen you could get a DVD player unit. Comes down to what you really need or want and the size of your wallet.
