good wax for thunder gray?

My thunder gray RA looks sweet when clean, but its a pain in the *** to keep that way. The dealer didnt detail it when i got it (lazy SOBs). I washed/waxed it a few times, but it doesnt seem to hold in south florida for more than a day.

The biggest problem is rain dry stains. Every drop leaves a spot! Im just using some cheapo was for now. It does help the rain run off the car, but the shine is only average. When rain runs, u can see the spots following the car's angles better ;] kinda funny looking.

Anyway, what do you guys use? For hot/humid/wet places, what holds up well?

Thx!

Cool

If you want long lasting results the best products Iv'e found are made by meguiars. The day after I brought my ralliart home I used their quik clay bar on it to get all surface contaminants off, then applied a coat of Gold Glass wax. Then for daily touch ups, use mist & wipe spray to keep it smooth as glass. I believe they have a website...Meguiars.com. You can look up all their products, most auto parts stores carry them also (pep boys, auto zone, ect). Works great on all colors. The initail work is a *****, but it's worth it in the end..good luck.

Zaino. Zaino Zaino Zaino. It is the greatest wax ever made, bar none.

Meguiars is also a great line, but for a show-like finish, Zaino is the only way to go.

how does it hold up to every conditions and outside storage? My apt doesnt have any enclosed parking and my car isnt in show shaped, yet. Im looking for something I wont have to reapply every other day.

Check out the testimonials. As far as I know, it lasts quite a while and is very protective.

Inexpensive - $15 or so - Meguirs NXT GEN TECH wax works great for the swirl marks, and then they sell a spray on "booster" you can just spray on right before you dry the car. I found it works great, requires little work, and is affordable.
