OEM mesh grill inserts

Just got these in the mail yesterday, thought i would post some pic to show how they look. I got these off www.mitsubishiparts.net just in case anybody is wondering, took all of one minute to put in. Look a helluva lot better than the stockers.

yeah, it does seem like a lot, but it looks a lot better than any of the DIY solutions, unless you know EXACTLY what you're doing.

I may wait until the '05's get released and see if I can get a deal from my dealer, but I may be headed down the same road as you pretty soon! They really look great, though.

Looks nice, but $200? Are they insane?

If I go the mesh route, I'll end up making them myself, like I did for my old Eclipse.

200 is still way much too spend even if you ahve a lot of cash left over. it does make a big improvement tho.

I have em too - and we're lucky to get them on the 'net for 200. The list at the dealer is like 279+tax - sickos! Its a neat marketing trick - make the original really ugly and then rape everyone for the good-looking replacement parts!

And you can't steal them w/o opening the hood...thought about it lol

I don't think the original pieces are all that ugly. I kinda like the louvers. I may end up putting mesh behind them, though, to keep the rocks from beating up my AC condenser. I already have a number of bent fins from rocks, with only 3600 miles on the car. I'll need to fill the lower opening with mesh, too.

Yeah, the '05's will have these standard. I think as well that the price will drop on them, since there will be many many more circulating around in production, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Still, I'm hoping!
