How do they tint a window?

Do they have to replace the whole window, or is it just a film they put on it?

I dont want the tint to bubble up and look ugly either.

Thanks. Just curious.

Film... and it is rather easy to take off if it does bubble up. Just take it somewhere where they will give you a lifetime warrenty.

** and at really nice tinting places they will remove your window and then tint it. =)

Thanks.

What color tint would look good on a white ralliart? Black is boring and dark.

How would red look? Light red maybe.

Or maybe blue tint? Then I could paint my calipers blue too.

This has a mirror look to it. I like the look a lot. Kinda illegal though.

Just make sure you go to a reputable shop. In the world of tinting, you definitely get what you pay for. The good places will have guarantees AND photos of their customers' rides, just to give you a feel for their work.

Thanks for the advice.

I think it would look pretty cool, as long as it's not like a really strong blue. Go subtle. I've seen guys with red tint, and their cars just look odd. Blue on white would be pretty nice, though. Especially the calipers.

IMO blue or red tint would look terrible on any car. I've seen cars with this kind of tint...it looks bad.

Isn't that mirrored look just a reflection?

And even if it doesn't turn out exactly like you expected, it's an easy removal. Remember to post pics when you get it done!
