1/4 timeslips

Well i've checked the registry and tryed searching and cant come up with any good finds. so just wonding what type of 1/4 times people are getting with turbos? its nice to have more HP/TRQ but if it dosnt performe dosnt sound worth it. so stock C&D there time was 14.9 I think (just off the top of my head). What type of times are people getting with base RPW/RRM turbo and then added mods etc..

I dont know, but with 230-250WHP with good tires, they should be at least on mid 13

lets see what the pro have to say about it...

^^^I half agree with you!

I think times are important IF your purpose is to build a fast 1/4 mile car. Personally my car needs to be streetable and reliable, so it's not setup perfect for it. I don't have slicks and I haven't pulled any serious weight out of it yet either.

However, I am too curious what numbers I could put down?! Prob is you can't really launch our cars without the tires going up in smoke, especially with turbo and no LSD.

My best guess would be high 13's or maybe low 14's?

14.9 for a stock lancer? or with aftermarket turbos? Man, non-Evo's are slow.

Okay a little off topic but every time ive gone to the registry for about a month now it says is under construction???

If you want a fast car the HP/TQ doesnt matter at all. I'm suprised none of the turbo guys can chime in with personal timeslips though.

For me its just to have fun it feels fast, if i do a mod and it feels faster or looks better im satisfied.

Registry is being worked on, it'll be back. Don't ask me when, though, I don't know.

I got these today. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....ating=HGetting

The turbo will get here in a week or so. Wanted something better than stock tire wise.
I will test it at the track & post time slip.
