Your not getting a CEL? How long ago did you install the kit?

once the car comes to a stop the rpms begin to fluctuate.

i am getting a CEL and the code it was throwing was the throttle position sensor, and the kit has been installed for a year next month. This has been going on since mid october and i've changed out the tps to a new one, but still don't know what the problem is. Just had my turbo taken off and put back on last week to put a new turbo manifold on, and the guy who installed it said he didn't see any problems.

Do you recall what the P code was when the CEL was triggered.

Maybe it is a tuning probelm.

1. Call RRM. 2. Check the TPS connection to the piggy. 3.If you are maxing the MAF sensor it does this too.

i'll try and call rrm tomorrow and have the car looked during the week. thanks everone for the input so far. Can you explain more of maxing of the MAF sensor, do you mean it is reading to way too much air flow????

yes, I believe one of the guys from PR fixed this messing with the injectors and piggy values. Something about tricking the MAF and ECU while letting larger injectors still maintain more fuel flow. Pretty interesting stuff actually. Maybe was t-rush? He's helping you anyway so you will get this knowledge.

You got it right..! Thats how I got over the problem. In my case when ever I got to a certain boost level say 7-8psi the flow through the maf sensor increased so much that the voltage sent to the ECU was much higher than the values it recognise and the ECU went to limp mode. I had to get out of the car take the pole of the battery to restore funccionality. I use the N/A piggy with almost 100% bigger injectors in order to run with lower voltage settings and still mantain returnless fuel system and stock pump. In your case you use an Additional inj. controller so I dont know how RRM adressed the issue of "clamping" the voltage at a certain level for you to boost over a certain level.

Hope this helps.

It's probably built into the piggy unit included with the turbo kit I would imagine. That means something isn't setup right and he should call RRM. Should be a simple fix, it always is when I call.

Do you have a wideband? I would make sure my AFR is safe to drive around with, you don't want to have to rebuild your engine.
