most hp.

im just wondering how much the highest hp ralliart has. since a wrx has a 2.0L with a turbo, and We have the 2.4 MIVEC it seems like adding a turbo should make the ralliart faster instead of making it about equal... i know turbo size has just about everything to do with it but if so why isnt there a kit to make these things put out 400+ hp? people easily get 350 out of a wrx with a few engine upgrades, it just seems weird that there arent any super fast ralliarts?

lol... There are quite a few people on here over 300 but my suggestion to you would be to search the user name TURBO TECH P.R., this is where you will find the answer to your question. Happy hunting!

well i have done research on this and specifically found LDS's ralliart. i do know that he didnt have a tune, but even though people only estimated 300 whp. I never said a wrx is fast off the floor but i said with a few engine mods they can get to 350hp with only a 2.0 when our engine is bigger and has the advantage of mivec. ive never looked up turbo tech pr or seen your car mitvrx. and im not dissing anybody, just wondering why there arent many ralliarts over 300 hp

I actually don't know the answer to this question. I do know they use the 4G64 crank in the 4G63 block. But it looks like the 4G64 isn't as good at making power, despite it's higher displacement.

I think the main reason why many are not getting crazy numbers comes down to dollars most people kow how much it will cost to have a engine that is going to give us 400hp atw and after all the research is done it is cheaper and easierr to buy a car that can handle the traction issues that will come with 400hp - Evo !!

but hopefully mid next year I will come one step closer to 350hp

Yeah, that and the High HP FWD rage is practically dead now... Its AWD or nothing lately, which I fully understand...

The largest problem with the RA 4G69 is the lack of low-compression aftermarket pistons... We have a fairly high compression engine when turbo charged, so that limits the amount of boost we can safely use... If we could get some 8:1 pistons or so, we would lose torque but could build some sweet numbers... Loosing torque could be a good thing in low RPM for us though ,as we can barely keep tires on these cars with N/A mods... Mostly someone needs to step up with some stock pistons, take measurements, and machine out new ones to spec... It can be done, it just hasn't been done yet...

Lowering the compression to 8:0.1 is huge... the amount of other work that needs to be done to run that low would certainly be an expensive task and one that would have many aking themselves is this going to be worth it.... I think the lowest I would look at is 8:5.1 but 9:0.1 would be more realistic. and would be more reliable

There are plenty of pistons around that can be used for our crs you just need to contact the people that make them and give them the stock measurements and they can then match them up to something else... I think RRM have a piston made up for the engine - again nobody wants to step up because it is unchartered territory and because of this manufacturing companies are not going to spend big dollars on making a product that nobody is going to try

People were wanting a headers from RPW or anybody in that fact, and once they were made nobody bought them... the conclussion is if you want something special be prepared to pay for it and you will pay a premium price but then the quality will be second to none, I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as a quality custom performance part at bargain basement prices you get what you pay for
