anyone think this would work out?

since i kinda disagree on the fact RRM's turbo kit is like $4300 for a 16g/only 80+ hp for the ralliart and ordering from RPW is kinda out of the question, and i dont think Hackish has come out with a kit yet. i was searching around a few sites and came across this

http://www.turbo-kits.com/universal_turbo_kits.html

now with a little tweaking here and there and adding some parts not included, do you think this would work out for our cars? im just trying to find more options for us to get our RA's boosted with out spending an arm and a leg. i havnt played with or am i one who knows all sorts of boost kits like the back on my hand so any and all feedback would be good. ima start emailing some companies and see if they even have an interest in makeing a kit for the RA, i mean they have turbo kits for all other years and models of lancers, execpt for ours. kinda blows our only few options are hella expensive or havnt came out yet(hurry up Hackish!!! were all waiting!!! lol) hopefully one or two sites will agree to produce such a kit for a decent price...hopefully

i believe the jdm pink sti injectors are the ones to use, along with an evo bar 3 map sensor IIRC, but if you do get the build done be sure to post up the build here on the forums.

The biggest pain mechanically is the exhaust manifold, from there you don't "have" to have a tune or ecu. I can't recall the guys name at the moment but he has his car done with out a tune using the back roots way, and it's more umph over n/a. I'm going to be on the highway for a bit now though i'll see about it and talk to you tonight, peace.

With the 4300 dollar RRM turbo kit. Your buying reliability and customer service. Your buying somthing thats been proven to work for years. With hackish's kit your buying a hope and a dream. Its been years and he still hasnt came out with anything yet. AND even when he does, gotta feeling since he is making 0 dollars off this, he wont be there to help you out. Unlike the staff at RRM been doing for years now... Thats just my two cents.

And if you want to save money. go custom. thats the only way to do it.

yes i will post it up when its done
and guys whats there to say we cant use custom parts but use a full standalone engine management? gonna be the same outcome as a the rrm kit as long as u set it up right..

also i looked for "subaru injectors" and returned a bunch of results i see the pink ones are either 550cc or 660cc ... i thought we are meant to use 440cc
can someone link the exact ones?

and is this the right map sensor?

they RPW set up is 7K aud for the full kit! rrm is $4.2K USD.. custom is the way to go hardware wise, just need to get the fueling and engine management sorted and it could be running a hell of a lot cheaper than those kits!

Yeah I would agree around 240whp the clutch started slipping with my nitrous runs
