Us guys with the OZs got ripped off, we should have had that mivec engine, instead we get an engine thats solid, but underpowered, and kind of ugly. Damm mitsu for that stupid but wise marketing decision. Sorry I just get frusturated bout this sometimes.

I can't wait to see the dyno numbers of that car. If I'm not wrong this will be the first Ralliaert Turbo on a dyno.

What's your best guest on its performance?

He should expect more than 250 HP at wheel at 14 psi.

If not, something isn't right. A G93 w/ a T3 60 w/ 17's can put 232 HP at wheel w/ 12-13 psi.

Specs on the GT25R

Available in .64 or .86 A/R exhaust housing with T25 flange. Uses TSO4 .70 A/R compressor housing with huge 4" inlet. Compressor Flows 44lbs/min. Capable of 350-425whp depending on exhaust A/R with very fast spool up.

Utilizing a genuine Garrett Ballistic Concepts GT25R Dual Ball Bearing turbocharger. This turbo is well known to be used in WRX Rally, the ball bearing design allows this turbo to achieve the best spool up characteristics available considering the extremely high flowing 44lb compressor, which has huge output for a T28 Turbine housing setup. In Japan the GT25R is compared with the larger T67 Turbo kit as for output while stomping on its compeition for quick spool up and amazing Torque output from the 2L 3SGTE. The GT25R is now the most sought for Turbo kit on the Market for the MR2.

The genuine Garrett GT25R turbo utilizes a larger internal wastegate setup which does not allow boost creep to become a negative factor in this setup

I'm surprised it's bigger than a GT28 (flowrate of 31 or 33, depending on trim), but the "R" must have pushed it over the GT28. Well, it's almost knocking on the door of a GT30 (+50 to 60 and beyond a bit).
