K&N Filter?

I have the RRM CAI and think the filter that came with it (some no name) looks lame. Does anyone have a K&N part# that will fit on the RRM pipe?

Am I just being too picky, or should I even bother changing it out?

I have the K & N that RRM sent with the CAI. If I'm not mistaken, Rock from RRM was saying they had experienced some problems with the K & N (breakage at the mounting point?) and were going to switch. I check mine every once and a while to make sure its OK. There's not much difference.

This might help:

I have been told that oiled air filters that are relatively close to the air sensor, can mess up the sensor from the oil been drawn out by high air flow. Because of this, CAI's generally do not affect it, but our SRI's can.
Any one else with some input on this. My information is from a former service manager for Subaru, who is now with Mitsu. Apparently, the dry filters are much safer, if you can find a good brand. I hear that Apexi(sp?) is good for non oiled filters.
