hey what do you guys think

i already bought this muffler and i was seeing what you guys thought about it.
I was going to buy a rrm axel back but its the same size piping and everyone says that you dont get much hp from doing anything to the exhaust so i figured y waste the money the only thing im gunna do is get the mid pipe from ultimate racing. It says it has a 3"inlet but its only a 2.5

Well if you want honest opinions then here it goes, speaking from experience, those ebay mufflers SUCK. (This is also coming from my old eclipse, not my Ralliart) At least the one i bought sucked. They were really high pitched (not deep and low like they say they are) and if you got it for the winter and it snows a lot where you live, then dont plan on that thing lasting for too long. I dont care for the "ralliart" carving but then again thats just my opinion.
The reason i went for the axleback is simply because I could just bolt it on and go. I didnt have to go through the hassle of getting one welded onto the stock piping. Plus magnaflow mufflers are just nice and deep. They arent loud but then again they will get you noticed while driving through town. sorry for going But all in all, I hope it works out for you.

Well that was talking from experience with only ONE muffler, maybe i just got a crappy one i dunno. Maybe yours will sound better, last longer etc. Good luck with it, just dont get too disappointed if it sounds raspy or high pitched.

It will sound like a beat CRX. Lol. My friend got some exhaust parts off ebay, said they are apex mind you, and they were crap. He got a muffler tip and high flow cat. His whole car rattled so bad that he had it all taken off. It was a big waste of time and money. Get magnaflow dude, even if it isnt the RRM axle back. Magnaflow with the 2.4 mivec is just beautiful. I have one and think its worth every penny spent. Plus i actually felt a very noticeable gain in the low end rpm range. Its a perfect match.

This is true....I will ONLY use magnaflow on my cars. I've had magnaflow on my last 3 and each one (whether it was cat back or axle back) sounded perfect and actually yeiled some good gains.

Im on the same page with BlkRalliart and Daddymac magnaflow all the way as long as you keep the resonater in your good.

Ebay mufflers 99% of them will be high pitched and terrible sounding.
Stick with name brand and you should be ok.

LOL, i was just trying to make him feel better. But now since the truth is out, yes they do suck, 99 percent of them do suck, if not 100 percent. If i were you lucky, I would save up some more money and get a name brand muffler. Or better yet, get the axleback. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Besides, youll only be out..what..twenty bucks?

I agree with the ebay comment, I bought one on there a while back for my escort gt and it sucked ***. It had this weird rattle to it, sounded like broken glass in a jar. I then cut it off and threw it in the garbage and bought a magnaflow. No comparison.
