Injen CAI nightmare
Injen CAI nightmare
So, I ordered my CAI from vividracing and it got here just three days after purchase. Unfortunately however, for whatever reason, it was missing the actual filter in the kit. I called vivid right after opening the box (no seals damaged prior to opening) and told them my problem. they assured me that id have the rest of the kit by wednesday. wednesday came and went and still no filter. So I called vivid racing again, who in turn called injen. injen stated that the package weighed what it should have when it left their warehouse, so i MUST have gotten the filter and done something with it, which wasnt true, i never got it in the first place.
after playing he said she said with vivid as the gobetween, injen finally outright REFUSED to send me the filter to complete my kit. only through much conversation and back and forths with vivid, where one of their purchasing managers agreed to pick up on their tab and send me the rest of my kit did I get what I actually paid for. This went on for over two weeks.
The moral of this story is this:
1) Although vivid was slow initially to get the ball rolling on getting me the parts i should have received int he first place, they worked hard to make sure i was satisfied and i was very impressed with their service.
2) Injen doesnt give a **** about the people they are selling their products to. they wanted me to buy a replacement filter at the $48.00 price tag for a product i never received in the first place. the did not, and would not budge. i will never and would never suggest another injen product to anyone again, and thought i would share this story with you all because it sucked...alot.

thts y i dont buy **** from online...cuz if tht happens in a store its easyier to fix...cuz if something happened to the product then u can be like hey i didnt get this or something is wrong with it and u can demand ur money back on the spot...no waitin and no bull****.
thats true, however you do end up paying higher prices usually. im finding that car part stuff is much different than electronics tho hehehe. at any rate, i just thought it was really lame that injen would have thought that for whatever reason some guy in a warehouse may have just assumed it weighed that without really weighing it. i know the shipping weight is just 2 pounds, package included. they REFUSED to believe that perhaps a 8 ounce filter or whatever may not have been in the damned box. it was just very frustrating.
Terrible customer service on Injens part I would get a hold of them yourself. I've never had anything good come from vivid and in my oppinion they don't look out for thier customers at all.
I work in a industry where orders are packed all the time with small items and I get phone calls all the time saying I'm missing this part ect . Even if my stock checks out ok 99% of the time I ship what was missing the same day
It takes weeks to get a customer, seconds to lose one.
