remember that they don't honor 90% of the warranty stuff anyways..

i was looking at the transverse mount spin on adapter too, but you should check for clearance issues, when i was installing my greddy spin on adapter, it was pretty tight down by that area

i am using a regular spin on (one out, one in) since i already got my gauges hooked up..

i am still trying to find all the fittings i need, but most like i will just use the black rubber lines to mock up the location, make sure everything works fine, then later on (stage 2) swap the lines out for -10an lines

I got the regular spin on adapter too. I hope that the hoses will have enough room and or will flex enough to come safely straight off that spin on adpater. Or, I'll get some 45 or 90 degree type fittings. How did you hook up your guage sensors, are you still going to using that greddy adapter in between?

All three of the warranty issues I had with my dealer where dealt with, no hassle. They where pretty insignificant though. Now I have to get them to take apart my front struts and clean them. I'm getting clunking noises from the sand that got up there this past winter.

i am going to use 90 degree fittings that swivel .. rusell or earl's sells them.. but they are ungodly expensive

i am trying to find some other source for them

I am still going to use the greddy adapter for teh senders, i think you will find that the transverse mount won't work too well down there and you really only get one port free for a sender.. where as i have 3 on the greddy block

Ur right, that is a big a$$ oil pressure sender. I haven't got my oil temp guage yet. I will be mount that transvers oil filter mount this weekend. Something like this with the two senders on opposite sides.

you do know that only one of those are really "in stream" the other one won't give you a good reading

But we don't have an oil temp gauge, in fact I don't even think the Mitsu gauge kit has an oil temp gauge. So there aren't really many inaccurate oil temp gauges out there since 99% of them are after market. Coolant temp is a different story.

You mean because of the by-pass valve?

My bad, the 3 Mitsu gauges does have oil pressure, temp and something else (Volts?)

I feel it wuld be a bad idea to use that long of an oil filter, unless you have relocated the filter placement that will be below the control arm and it would be an object that could be hit if something were to be on the road. Am I missing something.

The oil cooler is a great idea, and for MOST of us I doubt it is neccesary. The MIVEC is not what is causing the heat, it is the high RPM's on the highway. An oil cooler will add capacity and shoudl come with instructions as to how much extra oil to add. Have you installed it yet? After having the front bumper cover off you should have room to put it on either side behind the foglights, Of course you will need a custom bracket but I am sure you already knew that.

An oil cooler would yield the same result as running thicker oil.
