RRM P/P Intake Manifold

Ok, i think this is waaaayyy too soon to ask but what the hell. Anyone get the manifold that rrm put out? What differences were noticed? Will this manifold be compatable with the turbo? (Im thinkin yes but can never be too sure)

I cant calm down! Im so damned excited. I was talkin to one of my buddies the other day goin on about what all i want to install on my car, then i looked at the sky and wished there was a P/P Intake Manifold for our cars. Thank you RRM gods! Im already lookin at my next few checks to see where i can shave and save some money. Im pretty stoked about the price also, thought it would've been a little more expensive than that. . . unless that IS exspensive and i just dont know anything about pricing. . . But i give it about a month and a half and it shall be mine!!! By then i expect a full how-to install and a spec sheet on full gains/losses and a review sheet written up. Got it? Good

Considering it's the Intake Manifold it "should" be compatible with the turbo.

I don't fully understand how core charges go so i can't answer that.

the Intake manifold and Exhaust manifolds were designed very well stock. You probably will get better gas mileage and possibly... a slight acceleration boost.

This is one of those mods that will show better results with either an exhaust system/intake system or Turbo kit.

The core exchange is a fee you pay up front...
So it will be $550.00. You then install your new p/p IM and send your stock one back... You then get your $200.00 core exchange fee back from RRM...

So, considering I have both a catback and a CAI does that mean I'll probably see some UBER nice results from something like this? hehe

I'm still waiting to see some actuall numbers on this and maybe an installed pick.

Yeah, from what Rock says it helps the MIVEC "breathe" alot more... Rock says it feeds even more air in there and the MIVEC is still able to handle the amount that's being forced in there...

i wana see dynos. figuring i can have a machine shop do this to my intake manifold for 1/2 the price, or do it myself for about $80 in materials and a day of rotery tool fun, i wana see some numbers to make me spend my $. did you ever get a baseline run? call up rrm and see if rob will give you a small credit if you can get before/after dynos (or just after if you did get a baseline). if the numbers are good, it will help sales. a good dyno shop should give u 3 pulls for like $40 on a dyno day. dunno how many performance shops have dyno days in NH tho =)

edit: i dont are about peak number so much, but more about where the power is. im pretty sure this wont help peak too too much, but may help reach peak faster and stay there longer. thats what im interested in seeing!
