Yeah, that too. When there's a cop around, I won't let my RPMs go above 2500, and I accelerate rather slowly, keeps the noise down.

You made me remember some old cars I had and how many times I had to do that as a kid. You want loud? How about a Baja BuG with no muffler at all! Never got a ticket for noise though! Reckless Driving once in that thing. I got caught launching it 8 ft high off my favorite railroad tracks! Good times.

Yeah, when I was a kid in Cali (from there originally) a neighbor had one of those. Yes, they're loud.

Back OT, downpipe is good.

The pipe is great, For the day I had it with no resonator/cat, the Gains were awesome. I had a cat and resonator welded in to cut the noise down, but at the same time it takes away some power. I'm glad I got the rrm downpipe, but my neighbours are not.....lol

ok i hadnt been online in a while but i got the pipe installed...

sound - not as bad as i thought it was gonna be, but it is very bad... luckily, i found 3 ways to hide the noise completly... give VERY little throttle, you'll accelerate slow but it will work all the way up to 3500 rpms before the highpitch noise starts. another way is just stay below 2100 rpms in any gear, all it is is just deep and throaty. the best way is just turn your radio up

performance... very nice gains... high end hp , also mid end tourqe is very noticable...

unfortunatly, i got it w/ the CEL eliminator, but on the 2nd day of driving, it went on.... how do u guys feel about that...

hehe you said bung... nah we did everything right, my mechanic looked at it and said the only problem he can thing of is "the hole might not be big/small enough" ... i had not a clue wwhat he was talking about, i know nothing about cats... but i do love the gains though...
