I was wondering what type of oil people are using in their ralliarts. Also do you think it is normal to get back 4 quarts when I change the oil and filter even though the original required quantity is 4.5 quarts for both oil and filter. I do not use synthetic and change oil/filter every 3000 miles. Would I benefit from switching to synthetic? Thanks guys.

 

There's already a lengthy thread on this, you'll find your answers in there. Also, engines do use some oil, so if you don't check it every few thousand miles, it's going to be low.
