Those with Ultimate Racing Cat Back

I installed my catback from UR a little while ago. The exhaust hits against the unibody where it comes over the rear sway bar. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on an easy fix? I took my car to a muffler shop, but they said they won't touch it because they can't weld stainless...

That will fix the problem. People with the RRM axleback have the same problem. The stock hangers are weak and allow far too much movement of the exhaust pipe.

Awesome. Now, do you know of anyone that will sell them into Canada? All of the sites they have posted on their resellers list only seem to sell subaru products.

Hrm, now that one I don't have an answer to. Try e-mailing them and asking if they have a Canadian reseller. Or find someone in the US who would be willing to be the middleman.

You went to a muffler shop and they said they can't weld stainless!?! Dude, you SHOULD NOT go to them then. If they can't do that they shouldn't be in that industry!

I have that same exhaust and I had that problem too. I had a local shop here add a 1 inch piece of s.s piping and alter the angle and add a third hanger. So yes, stainless can be welded....take a look at your exhaust....its not a single bent piece of piping....its got very good tig welds. So it can be done.
