rpw header or rrm header

Anyone know what some of the advatages or disadvantages are of having a RPW header or a RRM D.P over the other. i tought i read that our stock header was plenty good enough. how much more hp can a header create for our car. youd think if it made performance sence, it would have already been made. if im wrong please tell me.Anyones thoughts would be helpfull.RRM or RPWs thoughts would help too.

You'd probably see more gains from the downpipe. The stock pipe is pretty restricted at one point. If you were going for the most power you could get N/A, then you might want both.

If you get the header from RPW it will include a downpipe. That is the nature of their design as I have one for the 4G94 engine.

Once the headers are dyno'd you will know better about the exact gains.

You wont be able to combine the two... it will have to be one or the other....

I would imagine that most of the gains shown then would be from the included downpipe, not from the header. It'd be interesting to see what each bit does individually.

Actually RPW's header is really long so it has a really short DP. The gains would be from the header but only because it extends past the bottle neck part of our stock DP. I also think that RPW throws in a high flow cat on their short DP so that you don't have to mess with it later.

That is an option in a GB for the 4g94 engine right now but when I bought my original headers they only come with the flexpipe (dp) not with a high flow cat.

The RPW header would probably give move. However, the question is whether or not it's worth the extra $200.

If it was me I would wait the extra week to see what the Dyno numbers are like that way you can make a better and more informed opinon... but from past experience with a previous car enhanced by RPW stuff I think you will be quiet happy to see the results that he is going to be able to give us... I know I am keen to see and feel the differences

Hey...let me know what the results are between the rpw and rrm header? I wanna know how much power that rpw header can give with that downpipe included? Does anyone know how good that rrm header is?

rrm doesn't make a header, just a downpipe. i would imagine that you would see more gains from rpw's header but i don't think it's going to be a ton of change. i know you will see more top end for sure, long tube headers are designed for top end, and that's what the ralliart needs most anyways. if you are on a budget, i'd go rrm downpipe, if you can afford the extra cash and want all the n/a power you can get, i'd go rpw header. I'm personally going rpw header, unless i go FI first. but i'm still undecided.

Anyone have an idea of when the header is going to be available and when we can see some numbers on it. If the numbers arent much higher than rrm's d.p it just wouldnt be worth it.

Hopefully the RPW one will be fitted to my car at the end of the week.... and yes I will post up dyno numbers and report on how it feels and what sort of an effect it has on driving
