Its not going to make it harder to drive in the city! Thats silly thing to say. Its not going to rev so fast that it hits the redline every time you just tap the gas. It would not do that even with no fly wheel on the car. It will just rev a little faster. If someone new was driving your car they would not even notice. You will be the only one to notice because you are use too a heavyer flywheel.. This cars stock flywheel is alot lighter than my 1st gen eclipse stock one so my eclipse reved a lil slower and it did not make it any harder to drive than my old eclipse.. Any time to add hp it will rev a lil faster. So what your saying is any time you add hp its going to make your car that much harder to drive in traffic?
Umm.............. no.
If anything it will be easyer to drive :P

Bump.
my father-in-law was looking at my moms auto corolla and said the problem was her flywheel must have chipped teeth. unless they stopped putting them in autos since he retired from cadilac in the late 80's he said its just before the torque converter.
So i know rock said it wouldnt work on an auto...why? not doubting just curious.

AT has a flex plate. It is just a ring for mounting torque converter and for starter to engage on. It is not a friction surface like a flywheel with a clutch.

It's cool man, you aren't even close to the first auto driver to ask that question.
