how much hp will I see?
how much hp will I see?
I'm about to buy the Intake manifold and the piggy back kit from RRM.
I have a catback exhaust and a short ram intake.
What do you think I will see with the manifold and the piggyback installed?

well, since most ralliarts put down somewhere in the neighborhood of 145-150 stock in m/t. I'd say you should be in the 150-155 range being an auto. You should be able to pull a little better quarter mile time than a stock m/t ralliart now.

Nope...Ra with auto tranny put down around 130 to 135 stock....I dynoed my sportback (UP, K&N drop, Hyperground cables) some weeks ago in a very hot night in the tropics (around 90F) and got 136.5HP at 5810rpm / 134.7Trq at around 4100rpm.

There is a stock manual Ralliart dyno posted on the registry (Amg_Dragon)...he got around 146...but the outside temp was 19F or something like that! So in my eyes that pull is not average...or what you could get in the real world (70-90F).

Below is the AEM dyno of an Auto RA (stock/AEM SRI). If you like to see my dyno it is posted on my registry profile.

I think you should Dyno your car if possible to have a baseline before the Piggy/Manifold. With those 2 mods installed you should get around 145 to 150.

So you're all telling me that my 2004 Lancer Ralliart put out stock at the most 150 hp and some of you are claiming 130 hp stock?
Well I hate to start a debate here....
For 2004 Mitsubishi has refreshed the styling of the Lancer, its smallest car, add a “Sportback” wagon, and added a new Ralliart version of both the sedan and this wagon. Instead of the 120-horsepower, 2.0-liter four that underpowered 2003 non-Evo Lancers (and that remains standard issue in most Lancer models), the Ralliart has a 162-horspower 2.4 with variable valve timing. It also has specific suspension tuning, 16-inch alloys (vs. 14s and 15s on lesser Lancers), sport seats, and a short-throw shifter borrowed from the 271-horsepower all-wheel-drive Lancer Evolution VIII (Evo). Mitsubishi has tried a sport-tuned version of the Lancer before with the O-Z Rally, but this one appears to actually have the goods to back on the sporting pretensions. (Actually, the O-Z is still offered, but if you’ll pretend not to notice the continued existence of this thoroughly redundant model then so will I.)

Funny that this is just one of the several websites that review this car and say it has 162 HP

uhh, the numbers EVERYONE are giving are in WHP. 162Hp is what we have at the crank, not after we lose some of that energy and effiecieny on the way to the wheels.
I suggest you this. GPTourer was correcting you so you'd know a lil more, if you cant take and wont take correction/criticism then I suggest you leave and join some other forum.
