Review Custom Cat-Back Exhaust

Had it ordered from my friends shop June 22nd and came in June 29th and also had it installed the same day as it came. I paid $255 for it with installation, once I started the car you could notice a way different sound. From 1K-5K it sounds nice and deep but once you step on it a lot it sounds RASPYY!! The guy that installed the exhaust told me its because there is no resonater........? So where is a good website or a good name brand for resonater maybe Magnaflow?

yep, I believe top recommendations usually go to magnaflow. The word is the longer the better. I kept the stock, but I have been replacing the bad pieces in the exhaust so far, not everything. Entire piping will be awhile.

Resinator will work but you will still have the raspy sound just not as loud... I really don't think that there is anyway to get rid of this sound 100%

Its a jap 4 banger characteristic, once u start handing pplz asses in paper bags u wont really care.

Mine is a 2.25 custom catback, with the RRM downpipe and a 2006 V6 Eclipse muffler, sounds anything but nice...still handles rivals like bad stepsons

I had a 24" Magnaflow resonator with the RRM axle-back and dp, and still had some raspiness. The only way to really get rid of it is go turbo!

I'm always amazed how much better and quieter my car sounds now.
