Injen CAI

Just a quick question... I did search for this and I may get flammed for it, but oh well... Which one of these two CAI's is the version you can shorten into an SRI? Are they both like that? It looks like it to me, but the one with the black box I'm not sure about, that's why I'm asking...

The pic on the left it what it looks like disassembled, and the one on the right is assembled with the mas.

Ok, makes sense to me... Again, I did search on it and didn't find anything directly relating to the subject (even on the sites I found both of them on) on the mas... What is that and what does it really do? Usefull? Yes/no?

The mas is the mass airflow sensor, it's already on your stock intake, and yes you need it.

Ok, cool thanks... I thought it was the airflow sensor, but wasn't sure... Purchasing soon

i have the one on the left. iit can be shortened, i actually like it that way more.
