Did you:

Reset the ECU?

Install the MAF correctly?

Check if the piping was loose?

It isn't the MAF, is it possible that something is wrong with the filter?

If your car won't rev over 1500 RPM, I would say it is the MAF sensor. It may have been damaged during the install, or is loose, or angled wrong, etc. It wouldn't be the filter.

It was the filter, as a note to anyone who installs the CAI, don't push the filter back all the way. It's doing good since I adjusted that.

Well, I'm 16 and my dad said to do that, so I did. I didn't think it was right either.
