Question Disconnect Piggyback until dynoday?

I currently am running a SRI, pulley, axleback, and piggyback. On tuesday i'm installing the RRM exhaust from the header back, (as well as suspension and styling stuff) but wont be getting it tuned until saturday. Should I jump out the piggyback to be safe until its tuned since the exhaust will lean out the car??

Thanks in advance

Wouldn't be a terrible idea.

I know in a thread recently someone said you have to put a jumper on the mire that is cut during the intall of the piggyback. Just to be sure, do i have to take the piggybacks wires off the ECUs wire before jumping them back together?

probably a good idea although I'd have to say if it were me I'd just drive easy 'til Saturday. If I were going to unhook it though, I'd remove it altogether ( all wires) and hook it all back up before your tune. It won't take long since you've already done it once. If you're soldered, just heat the joints with your iron and pull lightly, it'll come off easily.

No need to totally remove it. Just desolder the airflow wires from the piggy and solder them back together so the stock signal goes through. Leaving the piggy hooked up to power and tach won't hurt anything.

Got it before I could say anything, dont forget to reset the ecu, as it looks as if it did it by itself when you first start the car.

Thanks. I'd leave it connected and drive it easy but my car today is now back on the road after about 3weeks. So especially once i get the new exhaust i wont be able to stop myself.
