N/A mods compatible with turbo

I tried multiple searches on this and was unable to find anything.
My question is, for those of us who dont quite have the cash to put down on a turbo, what N/A mods could i do in the mean time that would be compatible with a turbo setup down the line.

If there is a thread on this already, please redirect me

Thanks, Muck

intake manifold, cat-back exhaust, pulley, any suspension mods, if you drive manual, shifter, clutch, etc. cam gear, brakes. off the top of my head thats about it

i did the intake and header intending on just selling them used when i go turbo, which isnt for a while and i am impatient, so i also got the piggy and i dont know if i can re-use that with the RRM kit.

+1

Yeah, don't bother with piggy (you get a new one), downpipe, header, or cai. Everything else should be OK.

you could probably if you really wanted to is do a ghetto job for a short ram intake just hack off the box make a bracket to hold the pod in place it is a very cheap but very effective mod

I used wire ties instead of a bracket. It was only temporary though. of course that was a couple of months ago now

Yeah but those N/A mods dont even match up close to the turbo RAs. I know some RSX guys that are N/A and can walk stock evos. When will we be able to get that kind of N/A power?

Most people get impatient. That is probably a potential turbo guy's biggest problem. NA engine mods are pointless if your outcome is to be turbocharged. Just bite the bullet, save your money, and get turbocharged that much sooner. Wasting it on NA mods will only delay boost.

I would mostly agree with that. Some "N/A" mods can go either way though and some don't. Do the ones you can go both ways with or do none and save the $ and do it right. Turbo never disappoints. Stereos always disappoint!!!

Stock stereo here to (minus the head unit), but some people are saying n/a isnt worth it go turbo. the question was what n/a mods can be run that wont be switched out when the turbo gets put in. Retro has further modded is car after the turbo for instance. I'm sure if you ask him he felt a difference after putting in his IM recently.

Some people want to mod n/a first to have fun while waiting for the $$ for a turbo. i'm one of them and love my car now, its quick and it has been fun to mod while a waited for an auto turbo to be released and i know ill be ready to go big once the turbo gets installed.

Yeah, many valid points made thank you.
I definately dont want to buy n/a mods that will have to be taken off later when i do boost. What i do want is mods that will add to my turbo set up. so to summarize, basically i should do the exhaust, intake manifold, and pulley ( i drive auto so clutch is outta the question)
What about ecu, couldnt i just retune when i go F/I?

Pretty much the RRM Intake Manifold, RRM Pulley Kit and RRM Catback are the only mods you can use towards Turbo. Bolt on at least.
