Thumbs down NSC dampener

For the last month or 2 ive heard this weird noise when shifting. Well today i finally got around to checkin it out. I took my torque dampener off and it was broken. The big L bracket was snapped where the 2 bolts connect to the motor. Has this happened to anyone else?

It happen to me, but I contact them and they replaced it with a newer model bracket, stronger, durable one. Im pretty sure these come with a warranty, but don't quote me. Contact them and find out. One thing is for sure, you really find out how great this thing is once it's broken because the power loss, but once you put a new one back on... it's like wow...'TORQUE'!

broke the engine, no nitrous.....

we made some hardcore mods from the time i sold until a couple of week ago and we were testing it ...
the sob was racing me and he miss"down-shifted" (apparently from 5 to 2 on a solid dual clutch)
the logger recorded 9200rpm and the program was "safe" untill 8k because we didnt expected to run it that high (we made some changes to the config of the engine per se)

took the oil pan out and we could move all 4 pistons side to side, apparent bering failure....

oh and the tranny barely survived
pretty fun night..

4g69 engine is easy to find here.....

it happened to me, i have one of the older models. only one of the L brackets broke but the other one is still hanging on. it will eventually break probably but then i'll just buy a new one. i really like the mod.

i dont know which ones cheaper but i haven't heard of any of the zaklee dampers breaking. maybe try that if you're replacing it anyway.
