Unfotunately, the recent threads listing on the front page doesn't let you filter out sections anymore, so I think people don't always notice what section a recent thread is in.

+1 on this. Go with the Iridiums.

I tried double platinums just for funsies to see what would happen. Ran alright for about 1k.....then started getting the gurgles during downshifting (during spirited track driving).
Pulled the plugs, and the gaps on cylinders 1 and 4 were considerably wider than when put in (about 2x IIRC). Put the stockers back in.....no problems at all.
Get the Iridiums.

if there iriduim I wouldnt gap them. They should be pregaped. I use to work for oreilly autoparts, for those that dont know like autozone ect. I have never had someone gap those and they should be pregaped. You may want to ask about those because i believe and have always been told you will ruin iridiums if you gap them. I could be wrong.

well sort off. What is all the turboed guys running in there cars for spark plugs, dont mean to high jack your thread.

^Correct
All iridium plugs come pregapped. Gapping iridium plugs damages the plug.

+4s are crap. I've known them to have prongs break off in engines. Also, electricity always takes the path of least resistance, so having more than one prong doesn't help anything.

As long as you are careful, you shouldn't ruin the plugs. I re-gapped 12 new iridium plugs in my Crossfire SRT6 and it's been running like a champ the past 6 months. At the track, turning 12.1 @114mph. Couldn't find the plugs pre-gapped for that car. Went from .040 to .035.
