by your description I'd say you easily got 100 whp extra. it also sounds like you may need new shocks.

no no, i think you misunderstand me. He very well could have gained 30 hp out of it. There is just absolutely *NOTHING* in his review that would allow anyone to make any kind of educated estimate on the gains. Thats what made me laugh and I was just poking fun, no harm or offense meant. Hence why I continued with my own observation about him needing new shocks - theres also nothing in there to suggest he needed them either. I was just trying to point out how funny it sounded.

well anytime you up-grade something in a car and you really feel a big gained in HP most of the time it is pretty good. on my supra when i put the front mount intercooler i could really feel the gain. i went on line to see dynos just to see what people gained with the FMIC . i thought it would be 25- 30whp but no it was 45 to 55whp. I know butt-dynos lie but i belive manny when he said that he could really feel the gain in power. every time i put and intake of exaust i could never feel any gain in power because the gain on things like that is small.

this is true. most of the time single mods like intakes and exhausts dont make a huge diff. but when u throw in a combo and a tune to go with it, thats when u feel some power. i have a bunch of the rrm stuff the things that made a huge difference were the pulley. the port and polish , and of course the turbo. the rrm clutch also kick ***.

 

Mods are supposed to work together with other ones. That is the whole point!
