hey guys i just want to get your imput on this little thing.

i had on of the single fan ones on my old car a 2000 eclipse and i had a aem cai in it and
i noticed a diffence in power amazingly. .. . and then i lost it lol do you think it is worth it to buy it agian for the 04 ralliart . .. .which you think you will be better the single or double fan?

Think about it this way:
The auction claims that "The propeller of Power Launcher Turbine spins with the engine speed generating a maximum force to create a powerful airflow into the combustion chamber at a higher speed. The Double propeller sucks the airflow into the combustion chamber at a higher speed resulting atomized burning: increase Horse power and Save gasoline."
If there is nothing powering the fan, where is the energy required to turn the fan coming from? It's coming from your intake air velocity. Slower air=less air (in this case all other variables stay the same) Adding an obstruction in your intake for any reason creates heat and turbulence, neither of which are good for your intake air. Turbulence should be zero until the fuel enters the air, and that turbulence is created by the manifold and valves. heat is never good, no matter where you are in the intake system.
So basically you are adding a fan, which induces turbulence therefor creating heat. It takes a certain amount of energy to turn the blades, a little engery is lost to friction(creating the heat I mentioned) and the air has to move past the fan and all of it's edges slowing it down(creating the turbulence I mentioned.) none of these effects are positive.
and the last part, about the propeller sucking air, that's not the propeller. It's the vacuum created when the pistons move down on the intake stroke that turns the fan blades.

As Dan said, obstructing your intake is NEVER good. If you want to increase power and MPG, the only way to do it is open up your intake and exhaust. Otherwise, there are only 2 surefire ways to increase MPG - lose weight and adjust your driving habits.
