Having trouble starting

Hey everyone how's it going? I need some help if you can. I've been having trouble starting my car(04 ralliart) the last couple of days. Thought first battery but lights and all turn on. Then when it comes to actually trying to start the car sometimes nothing happens or a few tries later it struggles bad. I'm not sure if its the starter? I don't think it's the alternator because everything is cool when/if the car starts. Then again I don't really know **** about cars really.

Also where is that starter located if it is the problem. Anything I need to remove to get to it? I've replaced it on a toyota tacoma and honda accord. If anyone can help it be great. Let me know what other information you need. Thanks

sounds like a battery issue, it takes tons more energy to crank an engine that power some lights. try jumping it off and if it starts easily drive straight to Autozone and have them put a battery in. they can also test your starter, alternator, and battery.

My first guess is probably battery too. Check the connections when you try jumping it.
Batteries in SoCal don't last nearly as long as batteries in Canada or the northeastern US, for example. The heat kills em.

i agree, i think its the battery because if it were the starter, you would of probably wouldnt of got it going like you did after a couple tries. in my opinion, just test it n charge it...worst case scenario, you just have to get a new battery...n go duralast wit there nice warranty

Starter bolt loose?
I had that happen to my truck a few weeks ago.
