fried 3 sensors last night...

so i start my car and go, and instead of all my lights going off the service engine light stays on, im thinking no big deal, untill the car acts kinda slugish power flickers and almost stalls, but everything went back to normal afterwards, except the ses light.

take it to mitsu and they said i cooked the crank shaft and cam shaft sensors and the throttle body sensor, we reset the codes but your gonna need to get the sensors replaced, come in when we get the parts, its a waranty job thankfully, but wtf with the sensors

What codes did they pull???? Or did they not tell you?

If it is warranty.....make sure you get the parts AND labor warrantied.

The chance to have 3 sensors defect at the same time are what?!?!... one chance on one thousand ! Maybe the cam and crank but tps is out the track. Like Ryan said, what'S your mods so far ?

If only we could see the freeze frame data...

If it happen again after they change the sensor, I'll probably looking more like power or ground the sensor have in common.

i had my throttle sensor short out once, at first only speedometer wasnt working at all so it didnt add anything to the odometer =]

but then about a day after the initial short all my gauges stopped working =/

luckily dealership paid for it, said it would have been like 700 bucks for parts and labor

lol your gonna love this one, no engine or internal mods done to the vehicle they did pull the codes and they did coencide with the ones i pulled but they said the sensors were toast and once one sensor went, they just "went down the line" and shorted out, the codes are P0340, p0355, p2122 and they replaced cam, shaft and pedal sensors all under waranty took them like 4 hours, my dealerships under new owners, and they really know there **** now so im liking the new owners
