you won't notice a power difference, if any on a stock exhaust.
even with an axelback as well...
might be a bit louder/deeper...thats about it..

...Uff

Of course there will be a gain, the cat is the most restrictive part in the exhaust, aside the pressed part in the downpipe. Thats how u unlock the top end of a RA

the DP is more restrictive than the cat, do it all at once and you will see a difference. the car will be more raspy with a HFC unless you get a good sized muffler and resonator combo, the stock ones don't handle the noise well enough with all the additional flow. It will be a little raspy even with your axleback.

Back in the early nineties my brother had the best high-flow cat ever, on his Daihatsu Charade (3 cylinder turbo! was actually an awesome hatchback, lowered, body kit, racing seats in front, back seat ripped out, big subwoofer in the spare wheel well etc.)

The cat looked like the stock standard one, but inside it was just a hollow with pipe running straight through... can't get much more high-flow than that - and it looked stock wa-hey!

I don't think that was a HFC, maybe a gutted CAT but not a HFC.

I have a dp/catless/RRM catback. I definitely feel a ton of gain up top, though I feel as though I lost a bit down low, but I don't mind. Btw... the RRM exhaust setup, catless is loud. Simply put, very raspy and kinda has a slight "coffee can" rattle to it in the lower RPM's. But it purrs otherwise. I don't mind it, I'll be getting a cat soon though otherwise dangerousdan will go danger danger on me... haha

(PS Dan I got all the tuning components in.. I just need to install them now PM me, I never talk to you anymore.)
