Expect it to cost about $100, but you won't know until you ask your local tuning shop.

PPI will port your mani for $60.00 plus shipping...so ya what otter said, expect near 100.00. Out here there is a machine shop that does a lot of porting and they suggested approx 60-80 as well, so yes its very likely you can get a local machine shop to do it, just pray they are trustworthy and know what they are doing.

the tuning shop near me charges $100, so pretty much expect somewhere around that price, any more than that and your probably getting ripped off.

Joyrider, is yours actually bored or do you just plan to? We've been told numerous times that ours can't be bored due to the sensors/setup dealing with it being electronic. I suspect the "bored" TB that RPW sells is merely a TB from another Mitsu with the same electronic setup.

Mine isn't bore beacause I autocross and do solosprint and this modification will move me from STS and GT4 respectively.

A machine shop in Montreal told me that they can bore my TB and PP my intake manifold for 300$ or so.

One thing tho, you'll need a fuel management system to use everything safely.

Maybe next winter I'll send those part but for now, those are lying in my appartment and we are in the process of buildind our home... I try to keep car's cost low and decide to enter 2 race driving school instead of modifying my car.

I don't know another Mitsu that could fit... our TB is 65mm and it could be bore out 69 maybe 70mm.

I have heard of a larger one that would work but I haven't been able to verify it. The TB off of a V6 Eclipse/Galant.

Yeah, my friend's mom has one, too. We've been tempted to swap the TBs to see. She wouldn't notice, anyways.
