ac pump to intake

i dunno if any one has tried this and i couldnt search cuz im on a old apple computer with dial up... but has anyone ever tried to hook up an A/C unit to our intake to lower the temperater of the air being sucked in? just wondering if it would be worth trying or if the A/C pully would rob more HP than the colder air would produce.

The benefit would be negated from running your AC all the time and obstructing the intake with coils. Nitrous is a more efficient way to drastically cool the intake charge.

hahahaha, wow. this brought back an old memory from an old **** that had something like that. Storyline (if you can call it that) was a few chick racers that had their own shop was going againts this other guy's shop, and their secret weapon was a cold air intake pipe with ac lines ran in it that they ran freon in.

Kinda sad, the chicks werent that hot. Blockbuster got that movie

if you were interested in this idea, use cryo, kits are around 250 and it would have a better effect. you would only see up to a 10hp gain, obviously much more if your car was boosting.
