just wondering if the RRM intake manifold and the throttle body ports match up? or am i going to have to port the intake mani to match the TB?

stock tb??? i dont believe they port the tb hole when they do that just the fron of the intake mani.

i could be blind but i dont think they offer a tb upgrade for the ra but if you were to get a pp intake mani and say a 3.8 v6 ( witch fits just needs to be matched) tb at the same time they could doit for you if they dont already but most ppl wont upgrade the tb at the same time so i dout they do

 

well, they have a TB for the lancer.. it should fit the RA? I'm assuming..

that being said. I have the Intake Mani on the car already... and i'm lookin to score a new TB.. whether it be the 3.8 eclipse or rrm's bored TB.. I dont care..
I just want to increase the airflow and with as little turbulance as possible.

 

Man, RRM dont offer throttle body for the Ralliart, and Other lancer throttle body wont fit/work with our cars. You have to Buy a Eclipse 3.8L throttle body and port the manifold.

BTW: Im selling one...

 

your problem is solved buy his 3.8 tb and port the IM

 

exactly !, its very easy, just buy a aluminum carbide and put it on a drill, and mark with a sharpie , then have fun, its only 5mm that easier cant be, Or pay someone to do it professionally for you...

if its me, = NO, its really very easy, I've done this to alot of cars that I tuned, and motors that I build, just a few minutes work. excluding the time that takes to take of the IM.

 

port matching, yes. extrude hone is a different ball game.

 

lol no sarc here but with dan on that one cause ur not just going to grind away the extra meant on the tb flange it needs to be machined proporly or you might aswell not doit.

 

I was referring to the fact that our LONG runners on the IM don't allow you to enlarge them without some sort of EH process. you can only grind so far into it, and there is improvement to be had over a port matching if you have the little bit of money (doesn't PPI do this EH process for a decent price on your IM?)
