if you are doing a complete swap you need to change everything, buy a half or front cut evo and swap that in...
but if you think you can do all that probably better using that money to buy forged internals for the 69 and boost it up ... but yeah whatever floats your boat

There is a thread on here that someone is selling a custom kit with some RRM stuff like the computer ect. I dont know what kind of kit your looking for, but if you know alot about motors, then just call RRM. PM ROCK on this forum and see if he would sell you the computer for there kit. I know there is a guy selling his kit for around 2200 in the for sell section some where. It's a custom build but with RRM's computer and a 5th injector. If your looking to go with 4 over sized injectors then I would say buy a kit, use search on here, talk to some people who have custom kits and see what computers there using. Take your car into some one that you trust, have them put the kit on and tune at the shop and your good to go. (that is if you have other modes of transportation). If you cant to do then you could always rent a car, because buy the time you swapped out the evo motor into your car, you could have build a 4g69 and still saved money. There are plenty of threads on here about internals. I am one of them that has a second motor that I am building. The parts list is all over this forum sooo search and you will find what you need to know ect.

It would be much easier to buy an already turbo dsm like a 1990-1999 eclipse or talon. They already have a 4g63. Then you can spend the money saved and make 400hp easily.

Ofcourse if you have to keep your car then this probably isnt an option but you can find dsms for around 1k if you keep a look out.

a guy on here recently (about 6-8 months ago IIRC) finished the first 4g69 to 4g63 swap.

according to him it cost ~8k for the whole thing, 4k for new engine and 4k for miscellaneous parts/labor.
*edit* here is his post from how much it cost

Matt

you will be better off turbo'ing it and building engine up than complete swap.

here is the thread from the guy that did the swap

This. In my opinion, you're better off starting with a car that's already turbocharged. If you insist on keeping the Ralliart, the turbo kit is going to be your cheapest option.

I would get the motor, accessories, wiring and ecu and just mate it to the transmission you have now and keep it FWD. It would keep the price around 3 to 4k.

Best off buying a kit. This car has a temperamental ECU, so unless you plan on going full-standalone, buy a kit from a company who has already figured out the issues.

I really don't think its a good idea to do an engine swap, unless you are totally in love with your car, and you're not - you said you are tired of it. I think it would be better to sell it and buy either a used Evo or a DSM.

If you had said "I love my car, but I need more power." Then buying a front clip from a USDM VIII or IX would be the way to go. OR just going to a salvage yard and buying the engine, harness and ECU.

thats my answer so if i go to the junk yard and pull a 4g63 from a gst or something all i need is the wiring harness and the ecu? do i need the harness from the whole car or just the motor harness? because im guessing that the computer wont hook up in my ra the whole harness inside the dash will have to be changed also correct or not????
sorry donknow much bout this
