Couldn't seem to find the answer on here. Whats with the last cylinder having all the extra room? I know its not open like that on the EM obviously but It's gotta have the extra room there for something.

 

There's not really anything special about the extra room, although I'm going to have to say it probably has somthing to do with mivec , that's just a guess at best. Otherwise I'd say it's mitsubishi just making it that much harder for us to swap certain things from other cars :/ here's a pic it's pretty even internally .

 

See thats kinda what I was thinking that it had to do with Mivec but just seemed kinda odd. Thanks for the input
