Transmission mystery

Ive done my reading with similar issues, however, none it what is going on with my car on the spot....
Last summer, my third gear would grind when putting it into third. Led to believe bad synchro....
This past winter, it no longer happened, but now i have trouble shifting into 2nd at high rpms, or if i quick shift, if i ease it in, itll at times go in smooth, i can no longer downshift unless i go to almost 1k rpm or lower. Also at high rpm shifting, a very faint grind is felt shifting into any gear, with the exception of 2nd where it can be heard....
From what ive read on this forum...

Could be linkage under brake/clutch resevoir
could be stock bushings giving up

could someone help me out? greatly appreciated, or help me figure out what will fix it?

stock or aftermarket clutch? if aftermarket, have u tried adjusting the clutch pedal out using the adjustment rod on the clutch pedal? the high rpm shifting grind sounds like high rpm lockout

well, when all this happened, it was a stock plate, with aftermarket disk, the clutch was going out, so i thought it would be fixed, we replaced the whole clutch with a full oem clutch, the problem still persisted in 2nd gear, now with the small feeling of grinding per gear...

mine was doing that too, it started with 3rd gear as well...i kinda neglected it for a bit and just went from 2nd to 4th and visa versa...i was dreading a tranny rebuild possibly due to worn synchros but before i went that far i had the fluid changed, and the problem went away...when was the last time the transmission was flushed and changed?

if it was happening before and after your last fluid change i would start to suspect mechanical problems, so it only happens at high rpm, how high are we talking? ...what's the mileage on your tranny out of curiosity...

It has just under 93k, and when I do high rpms its pretty much red line, but if I quick shift like at 3k rpm it'll grind a bit...

well how often do you beat the tranny with high rpm quickshifts? I did that once in my ex's hyundai accent and about 2 hours later her trany's synchros exploded lol

I just saw your post, double clutching at high rpms or in downshifting?
